A connection count doesn’t tell you how well two people know one another, or what they’ve learned together. This is a way of exploring a small part of that history.
This export is dated 17 September 2026 and covers Mar 2006 to Sept 2026. Connections are grouped into monthly counts for each company; individual connection days are not published. It is not a live LinkedIn feed.
A company is the value recorded in the export, not necessarily someone’s employer on the day we connected. Different spellings and subsidiaries remain separate. Some company labels contain personal names or websites; these labels are retained as supplied.
How this version is made
The import groups connections into monthly company counts before saving the published snapshot. Laravel serves those counts. React provides search, playback and the table; a canvas draws the clusters. The timeline starts playing from the earliest month. During playback, new dots flow into place and growing groups gently make room for one another. Company colours stay consistent. Animate growth can be switched off. Reduced-motion preferences keep playback paused until you choose Play. The export is loaded only when you visit this experiment.
