@benwerd My fav books of the year were oldies that I read for the first time: Crymptonimocon by Neal Stephenson, Start-up Nation, The Printed Picture (Benson) Currently reading Ready Player 2, which is pretty entertaining to far.

@ninjanails Thank you Seren :) It is called ‘Hidden Ewok’ - because she changed the pilcrow symbol to be an illustration of an Ewok (with a christmas hat on!)

Our daughter has started working on her website again :) She created the original back in year 1, and her colour palette has certainly change quite a bit. Also, now using the custom typeface she created a few days ago, it will feature some of her artwork. https://t.co/FCtdfw8ewQ

Day1 : holiday fun, phase 2 We’re moving my daughter’s old website from Year 1 (old fashioned FTP deploy), to GitHub -> @Netlify … ready for a fresh start. Still feels like magic to me - wonderfully empowering. I love that to my 11yo daughter it just feels completely natural

@dalelane Next, looking at Glyphs app (mini) which I think should let us import the OTF and export Woff etc. for using on my daughter’s website. Did you also explore using as webfonts?

@dalelane That is such a lovely project @dalelane Last time we tried own handwriting fonts we had to print/write/scan. First 10 mins with iFontMaker and it is amazing - I just finger-painted that on the iPad in a few minutes, kerning was intuitive and output at TTF/OTF
