@sallylait If this is something you’re involved with, them it’ll be brilliant - so I’d consider heading over for it. I’d like to do more speaking again next year too. Plus my Dad was from Norfolk and I’ve never really visited before.

It’s taken a few weeks, but the conclusion to this thread is that @premierinn gave me a full refund following that terrible stay while in Bristol for @pixelpioneers Of course I’d have much preferred a decent night’s sleep, but I’m glad they adhered to their Good Night Guarantee

@camilledreyes I’m the same with my blog, but it’s good to have a gradually growing body of work to look back on. I did NaBloPoMo in 2016 and forcing myself to write everyday for a month was both terrible and brilliant. https://t.co/Z86Fxgeqz8 I look forward to reading your posts at some point.

@matchavez unless I go back and slot in some <%_ -%> and remove the code indents etc.. I'll dig deeper, as I would imagine there most be a core config option to auto-slurp

@matchavez I did indeed look at Grav, look great, and is on the list for a future project. For now, the EJS is parsing some arrays of multilingual content, and business logic based on user language preferences. Even the <% javascript logic %> appears to inject space newlines

...to the less enjoyable side of exploring EJS whitespace and newline slurping which seems to mean adding lots of underscores and hyphens <%_ -%> it also appears to mean needing to remove comments and the newlines and tabs that were making the code more readable

A record, with its context.

These are the words and pictures from an earlier moment. Roles, opinions, links and like counts reflect the archive; they aren’t a live feed. Historical references to Vercel and other employers remain where they belong.

The export includes 84 video and 25 GIF references without their media files. Their posts remain searchable, with links to the originals. Those links may no longer be available.

How this version is made

Laravel searches the archive and sends 24 matching posts at a time. The photographs are served as smaller, responsive images and can be opened for a closer look. Search, year and media choices are kept in the URL so a view can be shared. Precise location fields and account metadata from the raw export are excluded.
