@csswizardry @naconf the weather forecast is also suggesting snowmagedon so good to be able to give myself plenty of time. For your workshop - do you reckon ipad + keyboard is sufficient for note-taking - or would a laptop be better (if doing say side by side stuff in browsers/editors etc..)?

@ghickman Only two days in, but finding it great, provided I pay attention to my posture. The fatigue seems fine too - though I’d got used to doing quite a lot of standing. There seems to be some types of work I prefer to be seated for, and this is a good half-way.

@sallylait His current intention is to be a professional rugby player... but I’m encouraging some back up plans (... as well as being interested and pretty good, I have also said I will pay him junior freelance rates once he can product valuable enough work for a certain side project ... )

@sallylait @maxray Ah yes, I remember thinking the @rachelnabors animation course looked interesting but it had slipped my mind. Jack is probably going to watch the Jen Simmons YouTube channel videos next, and then RN’s course would be a great after that

I’m tempted to mute updates around the ‘CSS is hard’ debate, but before I do: If you are struggling with CSS, and would like to understand it better, the CSS Layout Workshop by @rachelandrew is amazing and @jensimmons has a brilliant YouTube channel. Both inspire and clarify.

Micro-sprints might just be addictive. Completed 2 @StoryusLife micro-sprints this evening, and couldn't resist going back for a 3rd. Encourages further progress when you are in flow state, and even if only complete a single - it still feels like progress.
