@marcusdempsey I have had Bose QC 20 for ages which are amazing (but wired)... and also recently got some AirPod pros, which are actually fabulous (though I’ve not yet tried them for calls)

@hellogeri It came already ! :) And that’s a great shot (I found a clamp that holds my phone over the eyepiece which works well) Really looking forward to seeing how you get on with the t-ring and DSLR

@tinocellupica I don’t think we actually spotted these at the time, but had left the phones recording down the garden - I just found this while doing my weekly catchup. I think, this was using TL mode on @NightCapApp and I then lowered the speed further in iMovie....

@Joel_Hughes We used the first one as a trial run.. and plan to use a more organised system next time... with a meeting coordinator (my wife) ... and using the chat more to figure out who to introduce to speak next..... and ... ‘mute all’ is your best friend ;)

@Joel_Hughes At some point, if someone figures out virtual backgrounds, then everyone will spend the next 20 minutes playing around with them.... all good fun... I realise I assumed it was a non-work thing... maybe with people who are unused to tools like zoom.. sorry if I judged that wrong

@Joel_Hughes you will have to let people know about ‘gallery mode’ so they see the broader group, but they will still need to scroll through the list.... we had a load of people on android, so trying to guide through controls was different.. also several on phones who could only see 2-4 faces

@Joel_Hughes We did one for the broader family - about 40 people. Unless they are all used to zoom - I’d say aim low for the first one... there will naturally be people technical glitches...

@hellogeri Getting the DSLR connector is a great idea - I was considering that, but our DSLR is 15 years old .... when you get used to your setup I’d love to see your astrophotography results (and maybe I will try to connect my old DSLR at some point)

@hellogeri I’m looking forward to when there is more of a moon... I gather it will make it harder to see other objects - but I am looking forward to a really big object to aim for as I learn all of the controls, and settings.

@hellogeri There is also luckily a sale on the SkySafari Pro app currently - which gives amazing information on the starts, satellite, etc... Last night we were looks at a distant star, and Zoe (10) and I were talking about how the light we were looking at, had left the star 101 years ago!
