Canon 6d was a front runner, but it appears much bigger and heavier compared to a similar capability Sony a7riii.... I guess maybe because it is based on an older product history

I’m going to have to look at replacing my 15 y/o DSLR, but wanted something that would suit astrophotography, initially through a telescope. Any thoughts on what technical specs or even models to look at ? / @hellogeri @danrubin (I have old canon lenses - be not to waste them)

@hellogeri I can’t seem to get anything to focus at all well.... it is 15 years old and so has no light feed... and however ok things look through the tiny view finder, the resulting shots have all looked really poor

@hellogeri I haven’t collumated mine yet.... and there’s a good chance I have no idea what that means either! I’m having a lot of trouble with the DSLR though, so maybe that is related. The ZWO is more for deep space objects I think, it is a strange way to take photos
