@elliotjaystocks The @joshuablackmore SiZE album release was also available as a rather stonking cassette (made of hot pink plastic). Especially amusing trying to explain to my kids what it was and how to use it!

@maxray Took 4 stalled attempts before I completed it, then went on to become one of my top 5 of all time - Also most re-read, and most frequently gifted. I’ve not read it for quite a few years now.... I was saddened by the real life story of his sons death. Maybe time to read again.

@naconf I have a minor hearing abnormality - I’m often over-sensitive to environmental and background noises... what I loved with the captioning was when I was unable to hear part of a sentence was the ease of reviewing the feed, rather than best guessing - i felt far less tired after.

@naconf I was comparing the two during Liz’s talk - and they were both excellent, with a few differences of interpretations cropping up. Thisten is clearly more scalable, but I loved how Andrew felt like part of the event, and sometimes did the equivalent of ‘talking to camera’

@varjmes Watched it with my 13 y/o, who has seen almost no Star Trek of any era (I watched all of TNG the first time round), and we both really enjoyed it - they have done a cracking job. One of the few series where I am actively looking forward to next week’s new episode.

@benwerd Slow time. I’m back after a week+ away, and my favourite things are: Sitting in the settee reading and chatting as a family. Cycling together around the countryside. Eating together. We did a 7 country family road trip in summer 2018, and home was wherever we all were.

Regarding Ends - Helen (@LittleHelli ) - have read The Power of Moments? which also includes aspects of experiences (peaks, troughs, transitions, milestones) and the importance of the ‘end’ transition. We’ve been using these approaches with our family adventures, to great effect
