@matchavez unless I go back and slot in some <%_ -%> and remove the code indents etc.. I'll dig deeper, as I would imagine there most be a core config option to auto-slurp

@matchavez I did indeed look at Grav, look great, and is on the list for a future project. For now, the EJS is parsing some arrays of multilingual content, and business logic based on user language preferences. Even the <% javascript logic %> appears to inject space newlines

I know HTML will strip the whitespace and newlines, and it's only effecting anyone who reads the source... but it feels important to have view-source be clean and considered too. If any EJS folks know of a cleaner way - I'd love to hear from you :) https://t.co/0HAFpUZPkD

...to the less enjoyable side of exploring EJS whitespace and newline slurping which seems to mean adding lots of underscores and hyphens <%_ -%> it also appears to mean needing to remove comments and the newlines and tabs that were making the code more readable

@dalelane I really like how much fun they have with the costumes and the dances. They’ve done well to take the violent edge of a game about people fighting each other. The building defences add a great strategic element too.

@colly Hopefully you already knew how much I love your talks on this subject. Makes me appreciate all the more what we already have, and want to explore and extend my awareness further. I got up at 4.30am a few weeks back to listen to the dawn chorus, and it was just magnificent.
