I suppose one of the benefits of not having been able to go away for half term, is that at least today will not lose many hours to driving for 4 hours, packing and unpacking. Trying to look at the positives.

@MrPJEvans This is a ‘conqueco’ - I’d never heard of them, and frankly I didn’t do much research - day 1 and it seems ok ….. mostly tired of being freezing at the side of rubgy pitches over winter :) If it doesn’t work out, I might try this Comfy Bear brand you mentioned

@mikestreety The mat is just nicely formed dense foam, but it means you can vary the pressure on your foot - when I was first starting stand working, I was finding standing still on a hard floor was giving me sore feet. I’ve also not got an unstable/wobbly stool, works well with the desk

@mikestreety I’ve had an IKEA Bekant electric sit/stand for years, and it’s great - lasting well (so far). Maybe also consider an anti-fatigue mat at first if you are new to working standing.
