@hellogeri I’m looking forward to when there is more of a moon... I gather it will make it harder to see other objects - but I am looking forward to a really big object to aim for as I learn all of the controls, and settings.

@hellogeri There is also luckily a sale on the SkySafari Pro app currently - which gives amazing information on the starts, satellite, etc... Last night we were looks at a distant star, and Zoe (10) and I were talking about how the light we were looking at, had left the star 101 years ago!

@hellogeri THe more I researched, the more I had to google things... ‘barlow’, ‘t-ring’, ‘lucky images’... it seems to be a community of very passionate people, who seem to type 80% acronyms, and domain specific jargon.... super exciting though

@Si @maxray I’ve been full-time employed, and also almost-entirely remote for 13 years now... I love visiting the office to socialise, but a opportunity 13 ish years ago coincided with my son being born - that unexpectedly led to exploring remote as a FT employee, and I’ve never looked back

AirPod pros are amazing. Originally bought to overcome noisy builders next door... They are so small and effective I forget I have them in..... sitting downstairs in the dark listening to music loud.... I keep expecting Em or one of the kids to ask me to turn it down
