A longer story.

@benwerd This one is a little old, and some of the newer es6 js concepts are not covered.... but in terms of node fundamentals, and understanding under the hood, this is really good Learn and Understand NodeJS by Anthony Alicea https://t.co/CyEKIES2Vo

@barry_richards Ticket rather than clamp... so an expensive mistake, but at least I’m now at home :)

@markwilsonit I paid via the app when I remembered, but the car had been there for 11 hours by then..... and there was a ticket waiting for me, but at least it wasn’t a clamp and I’m now home :)

Boarding my train home, my brain suddenly recalls that I forgot to buy a parking ticket when rushing for my train when I arrived at the station car park 12 hours ago. Thanks brain - that’s cracking timing. Now to see if it is a ticket or clamp that awaits.

Having spent last night creating lots of ‘technical debt’ - this morning I’m doing some housekeeping to keep the project entropy at bay (... very much in line with your earlier thought @hankchizljaw )

@hankchizljaw ... it is also an example of overly-optimal media sizing causing sub-optimal delivery due to CDN caching inefficiencies (that aspect was deliberate - as it often comes up in conversations)

@hankchizljaw ... and I need to sort out the open graph for unslump (an early port of a node/mongodb project to eleventy/netlify)....

@hankchizljaw One of my favourite modes of thought, wish I’d enforced it sooner than I did https://t.co/B4DzuPxfeL

@jhuskisson @naconf I need to invest some time in trimming out a load of the people, and organisations I follow to bring some positive control into my feed, and use lists even more.... but like being at NAConf, and MKGN and some of the community events - it feels somewhat like coming back home.

I’ve been somewhat distant from Twitter the last few years... but the last 30 mins of interactions, and the period around @naconf has reminded me just how many brilliant people are here that I really enjoy interacting with and being inspired by. 👋

@deanleigh ... instead of either, I’ve got my wife some business cards made for her new startup, and the kids are cooking us dinner!... so I’ll report back how that goes down after friday!

@markwilsonit They do feel weird.... perhaps embarrassing to admit... but I now visualise myself as Usain Bolt having just won a race in front of a full stadium! Definitely seems to put me in a positive frame of mind.... and yes, definitely one to do where no one can see!
